Hortilux: Efficient lighting

The new NXTLED series has an internal driver offering five different wattages. The high light output per luminaire means that fewer light points per square metre are required, thereby minimising energy consumption. The design of the NXTLED ensures optimum air cooling due to the venturi effect. The luminaire is dimmable as standard, and can easily be connected to a climate computer, enabling dynamic, cordless and digital lighting (including switchable green and dimmable far-red), with a mesh network ensuring no internet is required. A boost function can distribute the power of switched-off channels such as green and far-red to blue and red, resulting in higher efficacy without wasting energy on colours not currently needed.
