Whether sushi or bento boxes, snack, salad or meal trays, disposable or reusable bowls: adhesive-free banding is the optimum solution for branding, labelling and preventing tampering. During the process, the optionally pre-printed paper bands can be precisely and fully automatically marked with a wide range of information. ATS Tanner’s universal US-2500 TTP banding machine is ideal for this purpose. Using a thermal transfer printer, information including price, weight, best-before date, batch number, list of ingredients, logo or 1D and 2D codes can be printed directly onto the band. Print mark readers ensure precise positioning on the bands. Printing information is either configured via the easy-to-use user interface or transferred via an interface from an external source such as an ERP system or scales. Depending on its specifications, the US-2500 TTP processes 30 or 50 mm wide bands made from paper or film.
