Data loggers are indispensable for monitoring supply chains. These small devices are usually made of plastic and operate electronically. However, Tapp is now presenting a new paper data logger at FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025. With this compact innovation, the Dutch company aims to meet critical environmental and operational challenges in equal measure. The innovative data logger is 100 per cent recyclable and made entirely from agricultural waste. It produces no electrical waste and is compatible with any smartphone without the need for a dedicated app. Important data such as temperature and humidity is available at the user’s fingertips, which makes quality control easier. Tapp automatically stores any user-retrieved data in the cloud and feeds it into easy-to-read dashboards, which provide users with in-depth information and analyses.
