Innovative TopWRAP™ Mushrooms packaging solution from Multivac

New TopWRAP™ mushroom packaging is virtually plastic-free and requires no machines for the packaging process. The purpose-designed cardboard trays are filled with mushrooms and sealed with label film. Less than ten per cent of the materials used is plastic. A plastic-free combination of materials is possible too. According to the manufacturer, this packaging method not only benefits the environment, but the product as well. The shelf life of the mushrooms increases by at least five days when compared with conventional cling film packaging. The tray is made from renewable raw materials and can be easily recycled.
